Happy Tuesday from the Mobie-Monday update?
Apologies upfront, keeping track of updates, content, grant applications, partnership collaborative projects and AMA prep means we have tried to cram a lot into this edition and time escaped us. We updated you all last week with our redefined roadmap updates and have made great progress with further developmental milestones reached with the Mobie App itself.
At the time of writing this article, update 1.1.3 has been submitted for approval to IOS and Playstore, so shall we share what we have coming?
New Features
Rewards features are added to Mobie App core Release4 (1.1.3)
- Rewards UI screens are updated to match the latest flow and design
- One-Time rewards implemented for below campaigns
* Load First $100 : $10 worth of MBX credited once as reward, on user depositing $100 in a single transaction
* Spend First $100 : $10 worth of MBX credited once as reward, on user purchasing $100 gift card in single transaction
* Exchange First $100 : $10 worth of MBX credited once as reward, on user exchanging $100 to digital currency in a single transaction - Balance widget is updated to include Staking and Rewards account balance
Fixed Issues
Below issues are fixed in this version
*(Please note a lot of these improvements and corrections are from feedback directly fed back to our team via the in-app ShakeBugs feature. Thank you)
- Account listing in currency slider :
Currency slider is updated to include all digital accounts (including Tether, USD Coin, Chainlink, DAI) when user’s balance in these accounts is greater than zero.
- USD followed by MobieCoin listed as first options in currency slider :
Currency slider is updated to list USD accounts as the first option followed by MobieCoin and the rest of the accounts are listed after $MBX.
- Sending MBX to an unverified user :
App is updated to process MBX transactions to unverified users as well.
- Digital currency withdrawal transaction screen :
Issue reported in Withdrawal screen (Send -> To Wallet) for digital currency showing blank screen, is fixed in this version.
- Digital currency wallet address display in deposit screen :
Issue reported in Deposit screen (Receive -> From Wallet) for digital currency showing toaster message for users with inactive Plaid account, is fixed in this version
Improvements:
This release includes the below enhancements/improvements
* Again this is largely thanks to ShakeBugs reports and community feedback, please keep it coming
- Cash Back label display in Search list :
Cashback values are added to the search list for each merchants both in Shopping and Google Map screens
- Multi-select option enabled for in-app categories :
Mobile app is updated to include multi-select provision for users in Categories section, within both Shopping and Google Map screens
- Phone number validation included in step 1 of verification process :
If an individual skips/skipped Phone number input during the registration process, the app prompts the user to update a valid phone number in the Address screen to proceed further with the verification process. Phone numbers that have been inputted within the Address screen are now securely stored and submitted for verification. This improvement assists existing users who are stuck currently in their verification process as they skipped this field during their original registration.
- Digital Currencies display :
Decimal values for digital currencies are restricted to 4 digits in the Summary view and 7 digits across all in-app transaction screens.
Known Issue/Limitation within 1.1.3
- Mobie Earn/ Rewards functionality is not QA validated in this production build, tiles are present and flow/splash is present, features not enabled until later implementation, taking in feedback for testflight and sandbox users and will roll out as balance restrictions are lifted ($500 deposit/transaction limit on purchases)
