MobiFi: next-generation mobility

Backed by R3 venture development program
MobiFi, a project currently being incubated by the Things Protocol, is on a mission to build the transportation UX of the future.
Once complete, the MobiFi platform will link different transportation options into a unified application while also layering innovative features and incentives onto the user experience. MobiFi’s solution features unique token economics based on a dual token system — one of which will be built on the public Ethereum network, while the other will be built on R3’s enterprise blockchain platform, Corda.
As MobiFi approaches the pilot phase, they have been working with R3’s technical team and, via the Things Protocol membership, have full access to the benefits of R3 Venture’s development program — an initiative aimed at supporting early-stage startups in the DLT space. The development program has already catalyzed many successful startups that are building applications on Corda.
The R3 program supports early-stage companies with extensive business development content, technical support, design workshops, and community events. Today the program has more than 175 companies (e.g., Nasdaq, ING Banks, SIX, Accenture and SAP) actively building CorDapps, along with a 200-strong mentor network, which includes scores of investors worldwide.
MobiFi will be launching a beta release of its mobile app and working toward the unveiling of its reward engine. As MobiFi’s project lead Yudi Xu commented:
