June Project Update: Forward and Upwards!
Greetings to all! We’re back with our monthly updates and trust us, we didn’t forget. As the curtain drops on June, it’s time to share some exciting news about what we’ve been up to.
First, we want to announce that we are actively seeking to expand our team. We’re looking for engineers, designers, community builders, and user growth hackers. So, if you’re passionate about creating a difference, we’d love to hear from you. We promise you an exciting journey in the second half of 2023 with an intriguing project in store!

📦Product
Developing innovative technology is never easy, but we’re excited to announce some thrilling features that we’ve been able to finalize!
💰MoFi Token Staking
Our team has completed the development of the staking contract, paving the way for MoFi holders to easily interact either via the app or directly on the blockchain. This allows users to stake and earn MoFi tokens as rewards. No need to stake a liquidity pair — it’s straightforward single token staking. We will release the contract address and run a pilot session in the first week of July. Stay tuned!
💸Crypto Payment Upgrade
You may have utilized our crypto payment feature while parking your car in the Netherlands. Behind the scenes, this was managed through a notification system that enabled communication between the backend and your app. While it was functional, we saw room for improvement. With our latest upgrade, we’ve enhanced not only the reliability but also the speed of crypto payment transactions.
As we wrap up Q2, we owe you an explanation about a delay in one of our planned features:
🛍Marketplace 2.0
We had initially included this in our Q2 roadmap due to its exciting potential. During our attendance at the MOVE conference in London, we received numerous inquiries about its usage. Unfortunately, due to technical constraints and time limitations, we weren’t able to deliver it within the scheduled time. However, we haven’t abandoned this feature. We just need a little more time to refine and execute it efficiently.
👀What’s more?
Our product designer, ZC, was invited to join the largest mobility conference in London, MOVE. She presented the MobiFi project and participated in a panel discussion on how we’re using crypto to revolutionize the mobility industry.
Our CEO, Yudi, also made his presence felt at the VCWI annual tech forum in Eindhoven, where he pitched MobiFi to the audience. His pitch garnered the 2nd place in the co-lab pitch contest. Yudi shared his insights with the team about web3 still being in its nascent stages, and how people are yet to fully comprehend blockchain and the immense value it can add to our lives.
