Learning Development on Both iOS and Android is Getting Easier

As I learned about PHPickerViewController as the new photo picker for iOS 14, which has better privacy considering, I wonder what’s the photo picker on Android looks like.

To my surprise, Android also introduce a new Photo Picker in Android 13 (Tiramisu which is to be released at the time of writing). It provides a safer way to access the only needing file. Just like iOS, better privacy protection.

Looks like both iOS and Android development are following each other.

As a matter of fact, if we trace back how iOS and Android development has evolved over the years, they are getting more and more similar
