iPhone 7 Plus, Shot and edited in Lightroom iOS

Waiting for a bite

Blown away by the iPhone 7 plus. It’s still not quit a replacement for an SLR, but the dual lenses and RAW capture give it a lot more room to play in an app like Lightroom.

I did not shoot this in Portrait Mode, despite the depth of field. Those blurs are all genuine artifacts of focal length and focus point. I cranked down the exposure to -3.0. In Pro mode, Lightroom iOS gives you exposure control from -3 to +3 in 0.3 increments. There are other apps that have allowed this in the past, but having it in the app I use to edit my SLR photos is a huge plus. Despite all the niceties in Lightroom iOS, shooting directly into Lightroom in the field and editing on the iPhone is a workflow I’m still getting used to.

Definitely going to revise my workflow…
