James Liversidge, the pop culture curator of the George A. Smathers Library East, describes his experiences in preserving the vast collection of everything from movie posters to original manuscripts of Pulitzer Prize winning novels that live in the University of Florida library. Mr. Liversidge has been in the business at UF for 26 years and is very passionate about his work and the collection is open to all students, though some areas are only open upon appointment.
