Here is the guide of questions we created to manage our interviews. We wanted to be as accurate as possible in our questions in order to get a complete idea of how our interviewers use their mobile phone and what they believe concerning the gaming part.
1. Describe your day with your mobile
2. How would you feel if for any reason we take it away from you?
3. Do you use any mobile apps to schedule your day? Tell us some of them and the one that you consider the most useful.
4. Do you use it for work/ college/ traveling/ communicating? Which apps exactly?
5. Do you use any complementary gadgets?
6. Do you favor your mobile over other devices?
7. Do you like to share stuff with others? What do you share?
8. Does your phone make you feel part of a community?
9. Is your phone making you feel connected or disconnected?
10. Do you use sharing apps and platforms?
11. Do you follow any influencers? What are your thoughts about them?
12. Do you use your mobile for online shopping? If yes, what do you usually shop and from what apps/platforms?
13. Do you feel like you share the same habits with your friends regarding the usage of your phone?
14. How many hours do you spend on gaming/ streaming?
15. Do you find mobile gaming apps appealing?
16. What comes first? Gaming, Streaming or social brand?
After that was finished, we immediately started searching friends and acquaintances who are mobile gamers.
