Introducing Michael Rodriguez to the MobileCoin Foundation’s Technical Advisory Committee

Welcome to the newest member of the MobileCoin Foundation’s Technical Advisory Committee: Michael Rodriguez.

Michael Rodriguez is the founder and CEO of DreamHost, a leading managed WordPress hosting and cloud services provider squarely focused on helping people grow their businesses online. After founding DreamHost with an amazing group of business partners, Michael and the team spent the next 23 years growing DreamHost into an established leader in software and product development.

Michael continues to shepherd DreamHost’s growth and has positioned it to help the next generation of businesses find success while maintaining ownership of their digital presence. Harnessing the power of open source and with major contributions to OpenStack, DreamHost has deployed a resilient cloud infrastructure and employs an impressive pool of talent with decades of experience. Notably, DreamHost developed the open-source Ceph file storage system and incubated the Ceph consulting firm, Inktank, which sold to Red Hat in 2014.

MobileCoin represents a unique solution for DreamHost’s worldwide business customers, delivering an inexpensive, easy-to-use, and secure global payment platform. Michael accepted a seat on MobileCoin’s Technical Advisory Committee in service of these customers, to reduce international payment friction, and to raise MobileCoin’s profile among small businesses.
