Introducing MobileCoin Foundation board member, David Bray

Please join us in welcoming Dr. David Bray to the MobileCoin Foundation board.

David is the Inaugural Director of the Atlantic Council’s GeoTech center, where he also holds the position of Executive Director for the Commission on the Geopolitical Impacts of New Technologies and Data. David’s work aims to find new solutions to thorny data and technology issues to ensure an open, free, and just society. He strives to build bridges to increase inclusivity and diversity.

He has served in a variety of leadership roles in turbulent environments, including work with small satellites and the private sector in the mid 1990s, bioterrorism preparedness and response from 2000–2005, work and collaborations in Afghanistan, Executive Director for a bipartisan National Commission on R&D, and a non-partisan Senior Executive leading digital transformation in government where he received the Global CIO100 award twice in 2015 and 2017. David guest lectures at Oxford, Singularity, and Harvard Universities and was named top “24 Americans Who Are Changing the World” under 40 by Business Insider in 2016. He holds a MSPH and a Ph.D. from Emory University and completed two post-docs at Harvard and MIT.
