Downloading and installing Xcode 14 from the App Store — Easy and Simple

Before you start building iOS apps, you must install Xcode from the App Store. In this article, I’m going to show how to download from the App Store.

You can also install it from the Apple Developer website, but this article will not discuss that.

Follow these steps:

1. Open App Store from the Apple menu.
2. In the search eld in the top-right corner, type Xcode and press the Return key.
3. You should see Xcode in the search results. Click Get and click Install.

If you have an Apple ID, type it in the Apple ID textbox. If you don’t have an Apple ID, click the Create Apple ID button and follow the step-by-step instructions to create one:

Once Xcode is installed, launch it. You should see the following Welcome to Xcode screen. Click Create a new Xcode project from the left pane.
