Mocana Season 1 was an experiment, ending on a high note with v1 of Social Hub - Cosmic Hunt, where we pushed boundaries to pave the way to set new standards in web3. As we move into Season 2, there will be more partners, more utilities, more rewards, and more platform-level experiences to be rolled out to our community. We’re all in to build the ultimate Web3 Frequent Player Program.

With that in mind, Mocaverse presents…The Moca ID.

What is a Moca ID?

Moca ID is an on-chain DID (decentralized identity) that gives you the identity to travel among Animoca Brands’ network of and beyond 450+ portfolio companies, alongside our ever-growing partner ecosystem.

It will act as your identity to our Frequent Player Program. As you teleport through the Realms with us to participate in activations, you can accrue Realm Points and build your on-chain reputation across the network.

We designed the Moca ID to be inclusive by expanding our ecosystem and broadening our reach, but you have to earn it. The distribution of Moca ID will be limited and only the active fans will unlock and maximize the true value from their unique Moca IDs.

In time, we envision that the Moca ID will become the premier identity that can help you navigate the sea of both Web2 and Web3 experiences.

So, what are Realm Points?

During Season 1, we introduced the concept of Moca XP — a loyalty points system that measures how engaged Moca NFT holders are within the Mocaverse ecosystem. Moca XP is earned through staking, social / community contributions, and participation in partner activations.

As we integrate Moca ID into Mocana, you might be wondering, what is Realm Points and how does it differ from Moca XP?

Moca ID brings a new generation of users, experiences and rewards. With a Moca ID, you can….

1/ Teleport through Mocana Odyssey: participate in partner activations to get Realm Points. If you win or place on the leaderboard, you might get more!

2/ Level Up: stack your Realm Points, upgrade your Moca Tier, and get access to exclusive experiences

3/ Get IRL and Digital Benefits: Redeem benefits using Realm Points, such as digital assets, tokens, digital and physical goods, and more

4/ Play with Us: Heard of Cosmic Hunt? Look out for more fun and rewarding Mocana Social Hub experiences and use your Realm points to engage in our Social Hub

We mean it when we say we’re building the “L1” meta layer of culture and entertainment across all projects. As an analogy, Odyssey activations are like dApps, and Moca IDs are your wallets. In short, the more active you are, the more Realm Points you earn and you enjoy more benefits.

Besides Realm Points earn rate, other metrics which represent true value-add to the network will also be considered, which we will share over time.

Key Differences between Moca XP and Realm Points:

Invite Codes & Attribution

#Mocalization is key to our hearts, but we can’t do it alone. So we welcome Moca ID holders and partners to invite friends and family to Mocana, one at a time #thenext100millionusers.

There are 3 types of users that will receive Invite Codes upon reservation of a Moca ID:

• Moca NFT Holders — each Moca is entitled to 3 extra Invite Codes
• Ambassadors & Content Creators
• Partner Communities
• Active Moca ID Holders

Once your Moca ID is reserved, you will get a list of Invite Codes for you to share.

We’re looking to attract quality and engaged users into our ecosystem, so here’s a little more incentive for you — for anyone you invite, you’ll receive a bonus percentage of the Realm Points earned by the invitee. The percentage will vary by season. For Season 2, you get an extra 5% of the Realm Points earned by each invitee you bring into the ecosystem. Quantity matters, as well as Quality!

TL;DR — More Realm Points earned by your invitee = More Realm Points for you

Invite Code Distribution: Phase 1

For Moca NFT holders:

• Each wallet can claim 1 Moca ID
• Each Moca will receive 3 extra Invite Codes for friends
• Example: If you have 5 Mocas, you will have 15 extra Invite Codes for friends

Odyssey Partner Communities:

• Limited quantities of Moca ID will be distributed via our Odyssey Partners

Reserving your Moca ID

Got a Moca or an Invite Code? Awesome!

If you’re Moca NFT holder:

Step 1: Select “Reserve with Moca”

Step 2: Connect with your Moca-holding wallet or a hot wallet that was delegated through delegate.cash

Step 3: Link your email & click confirm. This email will be used to claim your Moca ID and cannot be changed.

Step 4: Once the account is set up, you will see the total number of Invite Codes you have. You may start sharing these codes with your friends already

Step 5: To check the redemption status of your Invite Codes, simply click “Check My Spot” at mocaverse.xyz/moca-id/invite to login and access your Invite Codes page

If you received an Invite Code:

Step 1: Enter your Invite Code and select “Reserve with Code”

Then follow the same Steps 3–5 as above (You do not have to connect a wallet)!

Once you’ve created your account & linked your email, your spot is confirmed! No further actions are needed at this point.
