State of the Network

More miners are joining the network ! As a result, there has been a significant jump in the global hashrate up to twice what was seen in January. Still no sign of chain split since the release of 2.4.1.

Development

The final set of tests are being run for the multi-destination feature update. Once completed, there will be an upgrade of the network to incorporate this feature into the mainnet.

The Mojo wallet has been updated to support the new multi-destination update. It will be released along with the network upgrade.

A couple of changes have been introduced into the API to allow more flexibility for the future deployment of features such as messaging and private transactions.

Exchanges

Qtrade as decided to end its Early Access program and will stop the trading of Mochimo on March 1st. Withdrawal will be supported until April 22nd. Make sure to withdraw your coins before the deadline.

We strongly recommend miners not use an exchange deposit address as a direct destination for mining rewards. Always use a personal “buffer” address from your Mojo wallet as your mining address and then transfer to an exchange if you desire.
