An ongoing series of MockingBot tutorials.

MockingBot supports two types of collaboration: Team Collaboration and Project Collaboration.

Project Collaboration is project-based. You can invite collaborators and they can edit the project, copy the project to the personal project. Only you can delete and move the project, this mode provides your team more flexibilities.

How to invite someone as the collaborator of your project?

Simply click the “people” icon on the top right corner of the project, and input the email address of the invitee. (Make sure that the invitee has already signed up MockingBot with this email address.)

On the other hand, Team Collaboration is team based.

Collaborators can be invited and manage multiple projects. Compared with the project collaboration, this mode enjoys a higher security setting, where the owner has the highest rights includes deleting the project, moving the team project to the personal project, while others, including the administrator, can’t do these.

How to invite others to join your team, and move your personal projects into the team?

First, create a team, and input the email address(also the MockingBot account) of the invitee.

To move personal projects into the team, choose one personal project, click “More options” → “Move” → “Move to the team”.
