Time is flying by here at MOD. and we’re only 2 months away from opening our second exhibition to the public. In the latest news, our talented and vivacious Programs Coordinator Leanne Cotter has bid us farewell to join UniSA College, meaning there’s a spot free at MOD. headquarters!

We’re looking for someone to fill her role who can confidently handle working with multiple deadlines and projects and has excellent project management skills. Being comfortable with transforming conceptual research ideas into engaging activations and events is a must also.

About the job

MOD. at the University of South Australia is a futuristic museum of discovery, a place to be and be inspired. With dynamic, changing exhibition programs, MOD. inspires young adults aged 15+ about science and technology, showcasing how research shapes our understanding of the world to inform the future.

In this exciting role within MOD., the Programs Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Operations Coordinator for the design, delivery and promotion of activities that support visitor engagement.

Skills and Experience

You will have a background in a related discipline such as marketing, tourism or project management along with demonstrated experience in a communications or operations role. You will have excellent project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects or events with tight deadlines. You will have demonstrated an ability to interpret conceptual and complex information and deliver it in a way that is appropriate for different audiences, including writing for different channels. Your well-developed interpersonal skills will allow you to successfully establish key relationships with a diverse range of people and cultures at a variety of levels.

You will be passionate about science and technology, process orientated, well organised, and a team player with a can do attitude.

Programs Coordinator (HEO 5)

· Based within MOD. located in the new University of South Australia Cancer Research Institute building on North Terrace, Adelaide

· Part time (0.8FTE), 12 month fixed term contract

· Salary range: $66,774 — $79,459 pro rata per annum (plus super)
