The paradox of choice is a concept that describes the negative impact of having too many options to choose from. This paradox has become increasingly relevant in today’s society, where we are constantly bombarded by an overwhelming number of choices in all aspects of life, from what to wear, where to eat, and what to buy.

The paradox of choice was first introduced by psychologist Barry Schwartz in his book “The Paradox of Choice: Why More is Less.” In the book, Schwartz argues that while having a variety of options may seem like a good thing, it can actually lead to anxiety, indecision, and dissatisfaction.
