This past week, images of a billboard reading “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST” with a phone number at the bottom have been circulating the internet. Those who were able to call the number were greeted with an audio message from Tyler, The Creator and his mother, expressing how much she loves her son. Most recently, a website with the same name has also surfaced, visitors are greeted with the same image and phone number as the billboard.

Speculation that Tyler, The Creator is seemingly ready to drop new music has been confirmed by Youtubers who uploaded the audio message, most were met with copyright claims that their videos contained audio from a song titled “MOMMA TALK”, an unreleased track or interlude that is expected to be featured on Tyler’s upcoming album.

It also seems like more information is coming too, at the time of writing Tyler’s Youtube channel has just uploaded a new video titled “SIDE STREET”. The video is a 40-second clip of Tyler making out with a woman and driving off before her boyfriend arrives. Harmonizing vocals singing the phrase “call me if you get lost” may allude to the album being titled CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST. It follows the same, cryptic videos that Tyler used for his IGOR marketing campaign, so I’d assume we’ll get more clips like these to build more anticipation.

Tyler is known to drop albums every two years, his last project was 2019’s IGOR, so it’s safe to assume this new project will come out this year. Furthermore, it seems he tends to drop albums between spring/summer (April-August) and releases them very shortly after some cryptic marketing, I wouldn't be surprised if we get an announcement sometime in the next week or so of when this new album will arrive.

While there still isn’t a whole lot being said yet, it’s clear that we’ll be getting new music from the artist soon. Tyler is another addition to this summer’s highly anticipated releases, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares with artists like Billie Eilish, Drake, and more. What this new album will sound like and who will be featured on it is up in the air, the most we can do is simply play the waiting game.
