How can I teach my son’s father to be more considerate?

For background, my son’s father and I are not together and have never been. Things started out very rocky as could imagine. During my pregnancy, he wasn’t allowed to be around me because he was rude to me constantly and would always say the baby wasn’t his because I was assaulted around time of conception. We did a test and he is the father (duh).
