Location

Nestled in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee lies the small town of Lynchburg. With a population of just over 6,000, this charming community is perhaps best known as the home of the Jack Daniels Distillery, one of the most famous whiskey distilleries in the world. But beyond its iconic status as a producer of premium spirits, Lynchburg is a town with a rich history and a vibrant culture, waiting to be explored.

Getting there

Getting to Lynchburg is easy, with Nashville just over an hour’s drive to the northwest, and Chattanooga a little over two hours to the southeast. Whether you’re coming from one of these larger cities or from elsewhere in the region, the drive to Lynchburg is a scenic one, winding through the lush green hills and valleys of Middle Tennessee.

The distillery

Upon arriving in Lynchburg, one of the first things you’ll notice is the towering brick buildings and sprawling grounds of the Jack Daniels Distillery. Established in 1866, the distillery has been producing its signature whiskey for over 150 years, using the same traditional methods and techniques that have been passed down through generations of master distillers.
