I’m home

A happy homecoming.

Okay, okay, I know I call a lot of places “home”. But I have a few homes.

Barrow is my original home.

Manchester is my chosen home.

Anfield is spiritual home.

And, until tonight, I hadn’t visited my spiritual home since starting these daily Chapters.

In fact, my last visit was in February when thousands of us walked out in the 77th minute to protest a proposed rise in ticket prices. I was hoping tonight’s game would leave me with more positive memories.

And it did.

We won. 2–1.

Go Liverpool.
