Stories I’ve loved on Medium this week — 08.10.16
This week’s stories have been interesting ones, that’s for sure.
I’ve made more use of the Top Stories and Editors’ Picks sections to find stories worth sharing, and there just appear to have been some super interesting stories over the last seven days.
Let’s get right in to them.
Louise Delage was a constructed persona and the account, carefully tagged to be found, was actually part of a campaign by a Paris agency to raise awareness of alcohol use among young people. The kicker, of course, is that except for a few journalists, no one really noticed or commented on Louise’s behavior. Which is the point.
The secret is to pause just long enough, but not too long.
And that brings us to today, Friday, when I wrote this post and found myself stuck between a 532 billion dollar company and a hard place.
The right path is the one you want to be on. And yeah, you’ll want to quit, but you’ll be just like the rest of us if you go through that. Being an artist, being a creative, being an entrepreneur, it’s about fighting with yourself to keep playing the game when it all feels hopeless.
