Videos worth watching this week
17.09.16 — Eye-opening honesty, how to be respected and the evolution of human communication.
Just three videos for y’all this week, but boy are they more than worth your time.
First up is a type of video you don’t often see. It’s raw, it’s honest and it’s a humbling eye-opener. There’s a reason it’s at the top of this post.
Second is a bang-on piece of wisdom from Gary Vaynerchuk. And it’s less than a minute long, so you really have no excuse not to get it watched.
Last is a bit more complicated: one of Jason Silva’s Shots of Awe. They’re the sort of videos you need to watch a couple times before you really understand them, but all of them are incredibly insightful. Future of Human Communication is a freestyle flow of thoughts on how it’s human nature to discover more and more ways to increase our interconnectivity. As Silva says: “It’s who we are.”
Life isn’t supposed to be about feeling alone in a crowd.
If you want to be respected, and really known, show the fuck up.
And this is the future. Virtual reality. Technology. Communication. The Mind. The interior world turned inside out, expressed as a kind of coral reef animal that takes over the planet.
