Hello Dear Friends,

Hope you are all doing well.

As this is the month of February, I'm getting a chance to write on this topic.

I’m an amateur at this, Still tried my best to bring about some good points. Hope you all like it.

The Pityful Situation

We are living in a highly competitive and stressful life, where ego and hatred have replaced Love. People have become mechanical without emotions — like Robots. They just follow some instructions in the name of being logical. This has made them selfish too.

We don't know who lives next door. Friendships are limited to likes and comments on social media. Achievement of a person is measured through the number of followers, no matter how lonely the person is in real life. we don't remember when a guest visited us last- probably, before a year or two.

Gone are those days when our house doors remained open throughout the day with people coming and going.

Gone are those days when we visited a relative or a friend without informing them before.

Gone are those days when a wedding in the family was more important than an exam paper.

What are these, other than signs of diminishing ‘LOVE’ in relationships?

These are certainly the results of EGO winning over empathy and kindness. The world is trapped in I, ME, MYSELF rather than YOU GO FIRST.

In this so called Modern age, we need periodical reminders in the form of Valentine’s day or Valentine’s Week to remind something called ‘LOVE’ exists.

The funny thing is, it has become modern day Navaratri — Nine days of observance- “VALENT-NINE DAYS” and a final celebration day.

Still there is hope:

Well, in all these, the good news is that we still WANT to celebrate ‘LOVE’. If not for the entire year, at least for a week, we want to make each other feel special. Because Love is the basis for all relationships and Love is what is binding us together.

So, My dear friends, Conquor over the egos, break off the walls of hatred and just Love people around you. It could be your family, friends, neighbours, or coworkers- Anybody around you who makes your lives. Then we can see the world will be a better place to live.

Life is a journey

Life is a journey that we take with our loved ones. More than reaching the destination, making the Journey a joyful experience is important.

On this journey, there are multiple milestones to achieve. We have to go together being each other’s strength and support at every stage.

We are failing to understand, that all the fun is in taking the steps together. Not in racing to win over each other or choosing separate paths when destination is the same.

The Real Realities

In our lives, some relations we get by the virtue of our birth, like Parents, Grandparents and Siblings. When we are born we already have them in our lives. Some relations happen like a good Friendship. And some we MAKE it, like the Life Partner or Spouse.

Most prominent is the relationship with our Life Partner. A life Partner with whom we can take the journey of this life. Every individual works towards getting a desirable Partner who can make our life more worthy.

We don't hear people talking like — I have to get good parents or I have to get good siblings, but we certainly see people desiring to get a good life partner. Though we might not openly say it, but there is that desire deep inside our hearts.

Because this is the Rule of Nature, once we attain a certain age, we have to find a suitable partner and lead life with them. From the beginning of human existence, it has been happening this way.

Here, my point is to show how important or prominent, is our relationship with our life partner is. If anything can bind two people in such a relationship, it can only be LOVE. Without love, this won't exist.

How do you express Love

The heart might be filled with love. It is important to express it towards each other. But how do you express it?

It is through showing Care and Concern towards each other, helping or serving each other, being each other’s strength, standing by each other and supporting each other in every stage of life.

Love is a silent emotion deep inside our hearts. It has to be expressed through smiles, hugs and sweet words regularly.

It need not always be loud gestures to express it. We don’t need to go out of the way to please the other person. Spending some time with the person you love, and trying to understand their emotions is what is needed.

We have to assure that we are there for each other, we are happy for each others happiness. No matter what, we are together in life’s journey being each other’s strength and support.

We must have minimal expectations from each other. There is nothing like a perfect Life Partner. We have to learn to accept the way they are.

We have to let the other person be the way they want to be. Eliminating Ego and hatred from the heart, Love will make its own way.

Communication is very important

Once we have build this relationship, we must work towards maintaining it throughout. Communication is very important to maintain a healthy relationship. It acts as a bridge to express our emotions and feelings for each other.

I hope Love is the essence of your lives too. I hope this brings about positivity and good vibes.
