How To Say It Like You Mean It and Let Your Writing Truly Speak For You
A Women In The Spotlight Interview with Deanna Bugalski
Fearless writing is harder than it looks, especially for women.
You have to get to a place in which you know who you are, what you believe and be prepared to voice that publicaly knowing there will be a backlash.
For women who have been conditioned to try and fill the ‘good girl’ shoes and to not rock the boat, saying what we think, and let’s be honest, what we know everyone else is thinking too, can be a step too far without the help of a pen name.
I’d like to introduce you to my favourite opinion writer though I’m not sure she’d call herself that. Deanna Bugalski uses the blank page to give voice to the frustrations and challenges we experience everyday, as well as the journey of parenting, managing special needs, body image issues and responding to popular culture.
She is relatable, firey and hasn’t narrowed herself down to a niche because she shares her whole self rather than just part and perhaps that is one of the things that makes her so popular and boostable.
