Are we, women, really a minority?
We are holding up half the sky!
My American friend F. here in Greece is one of my besties! She always tells me to drink the Koolaid. LOL.
And we know how that works, don’t we, girls?!
We manipulate and scheme to get our way with powerful men. I see her do it with the Greek accountant who is an arrogant bastard and trying to make her feel small and insignificant. Stupid even. He’s a fool. She’s using her femininity. But she does it consciously and with a goal.
Speeding up slow Greeks…
She oohs and ahs, and he underestimates her even more. She makes him think he’s a big man. He laughs and smiles and even changes his holiday to arrange her residency number with the Greek government.
When we walk out of his office, she spits on the floor like a dock worker.
“No one f*cks with me! I’m just drinking the Koolaid. And spitting it out the earliest moment I get the chance!”
I ask her, what is Koolaid? I’m European after all. We don’t have that kind of sh*t here, laws…
