So, I went from running around like the March hare in the UK to floating down the Nile in blissful calm, and now I’m back home still running a tad late, but trying to maintain my equilibrium.

We’ve all heard a thousand times that the goal should actually be to build a life you don’t feel the need to escape from, but perhaps that speaks more to how much agency we feel we have over our individual lives.

I’m finding more and more that womanhood is about accepting that there will always be threads tying you to versions of yourself, but we do get to weave our own web out of them.

Overall life on Medium seems to be stablising and I’m hoping it feels that way for you too. Boosts are still lower than they were but I am continuing to push women’s voices and stories as much as I can. I think more than ever we need to recognise that this platform works best when we actively support each other by engaging with the work shared, rather than waiting for a boost golden ticket.
