A time to celebrate all women
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than by writing this newsletter.
The Modern Women publication is a community of inspiring and determined women from all over the globe who are incredibly supportive of each other. I say determined because each and every one of you has made the choice to show up for yourself as a priority. To value your needs and desires to be creative and make space for your writing, and let’s be honest, in modern times that not always an easy shift to make internally let alone in the busy reality of our daily lives.
I am awed by the power of women’s stories.
I have sat in and facilitated both online and in person women’s circles for years and seen the strength that is built when we share our own women and when we hear it from others. The empowerment that is achieved when you realise you are not alone, you are not crazy and you are finally, truly heard.
At Modern Women we have built a global circle, and your words are having that same impact.
