I was going through my recent stories and found the one about my struggle with irregular periods, where I updated that I had been bleeding for 13 days, and it still hadn’t stopped.

Let me provide an update.

It took me courage and reassurance from my partner before sharing the issue on Medium. To my surprise, so many women jumped in and shared their own struggles, advice, and steps that helped them and could potentially help me too.

I collected each advice and noticed one common of them: Lifestyle Modification. This was even something my gynaecologist had recommended.

It has been almost two months now, and I am already eating healthier — not too strictly, though, to avoid losing interest in it. I still enjoy everything I like, but if it’s unhealthy, I balance it out with healthier meals later.

I have lost a lot of fat, especially noticeable on my belly. I was never a fan of sweets, but I have started avoiding them even more than before.

Lifestyle changes are the best remedy for irregular periods and for someone like me, potentially dealing with PCOD.

Anyways, I shared the story when I was bleeding on my 13th day due to irregular dosage…
