Now that President Trump has been re-elected, should women consider a sex strike?
Donald Trump getting re-elected may seem like a true democracy. In a way, it is. After all, people made their choice and elected him for the second term despite an extensive list of issues, misconducts and injustices associated with his first presidential term and what followed. The Americans have spoken: Donald Trump is now the President of the United States – again.
Many believe that electing him means Roe vs Wade will not be brought back, and American women's bodies will keep being policed and controlled by the government. After all, it was Trump who appointed the Supreme Court judges, which led to the ruling that abortion not being a constitutional right or a fundamental right. Trump's stance on abortion hasn't been fully clear if you look at his second presidential campaign. Nonetheless, he was the catalyst for taking away the right to abortion, even if it will only apply to select states. If you ask me, he's the responsible party.
