Dear Miss M,

Thank you for getting in touch with Smily Days GP Surgery regarding your rolling around on the floor in agony.

Having reviewed your file, it would seem that you believe that this pain is due to intense menstrual cramps. We understand that you are finding things a bit hurty once a month and we suggest a hot water bottle and perhaps an ibuprofen/Advil if things get too bad.

We will not be taking your request for investigation into possible endometriosis further at this time as we do not believe that women under the age of 40 are capable of accurately assessing their symptoms.

Please do get back in touch if you are actually hospitalised for your symptoms in which case we will consider reassessing.

Wishing you the very best,

Dr Mann

Dear Ms B,

Thank you for getting in touch with Smily Days GP Surgery regarding your request to have fallopian tubes tied due to having no desire whatsoever to have children at any time in the future.
