This is a topic that Travis and I have discussed a lot in recent years. We tried out different kindergartens and looked at various schools, both private and public. However, after having left the system and the Matrix for years, it felt weird to us to hand our kids over to people that we don’t know very well.

Travis and I both had negative experiences in our school years: bullies, drunk teachers, violent students, drugs, fights, etc.

I was the perfect student on the outside. I had the best grades, scholarships, and was always the good girl. Inside — I broke. My intestines suffered the most, I guess. Before every test or exam, I had bad diarrhea, which is not great in a common school toilet! I suffered from gastritis already at the age of 15 and never really recovered from this experience. The trauma is locked in my body, and every time I go into a school building, I get somehow nervous and uncomfortable.

I learned most things under a lot of pressure. I cannot recall even half of the information that I learned throughout these decades. By the age of 25, I was done with school and university and started to become more and more…
