Can Tarot Predict the Future?
The answer is a bit of a paradox.
In the past, tarot readers were trained to use the cards to predict your future. This style of reading still exists, but it is not very common anymore. Nowadays, most readers are trained to use the cards to read current energy.
I really like the way Paulo Coelho puts it in The Alchemist. The main character, Santiago, meets a seer. The seer tells Santiago there is this current underneath the surface of everything. Those with special gifts can reach into this current to understand where energy is going and why.
Good tarot readers can reach into this current at will. As Coelho puts it,
“Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life.”
To read tarot accurately, you need a strong connection to your intuition. When you connect to your intuition, you connect to the invisible force that connects all of us.
