Australian booking giant invests in blockchain-based travel solutions
A blockchain-based booking website has partnered with a leading online travel agency as part of a deal that can take its retail booking service on the international level. Webjet, an Australian company has invested $4.1 million in LockTrip to integrate its website and the LOC blockchain into the Webjet OTA platform, a market leader in Australia and New Zealand. Webjet will also look into migrating its own corporate blockchain project — the Rezchain hotel booking verification system — onto LockTrip’s PoS blockchain called Hydra Chain.
