modum.io wins at ETH Entrepreneur Club
After only a few short weeks in operation, in May 2016, modum.io decided to participate in the ETH Entrepreneur Club’s biannual award. Competing involves a pubic vote on cofoundme.org and a preselection process. modum.io was selected as one of seven start ups to present at the final event.
The event requires a succinct short pitch followed by a five minute Q&A period. While the top three ideas receive the EC Award, recognition for best pitch and public choice is also awarded.
modum.io won its first award to date by placing second overall. The other winners included Immunas and Sensoc, with best pitch going to decidr and the public choice to Upscale.
Along with a cash prize, winning also gave modum access to invaluable jury support and feedback. The jury at the EC awards included: Phillip Hassler, the organizer of Venture Kick and Venture Lab; Michael Born, CFO at Dacuda AG; Patrick Griss, Managing Partner at Zuehlke Ventures; P. Mathis, Founder of Get your Guide and Wingman.
