Technological Developments

Last week Moeda’s technology team fixed some bugs and made some adjustments to Moeda’s platform. The objective was to enhance the user experience making it more user-friendly. Regarding the app, we revised the telephone number login feature as well as the MDABRL exchange system in the transfer area.

On top of that, we have completed an important task in the Moeda Seeds App. In other to highlight the main available features on the App, we have developed a new design for the page that is shown to the user just after they log in.

The team will continue to work on new integrations and on the development of the new screens for Moeda’s platform.

Blockchain Progress

The Blockchain team focused on the Moeda Card API integrations and on the development of the screens that will display those implementations - Moeda Seeds Card’s activation and application, a page to top up the card, etc.

The next steps involve working on these integrations (two more weeks will be needed to complete this task), defining product variables in the Moeda Marketplace and Moeda Pay systems, and making some adjustments to the Pay Pal system inside Moeda Marketplace.

Progress Partnerships

Our team worked hard on the preparations for the launch of the Contest “Innovate to change: autonomy of rural women and their contributions to reducing poverty and food insecurity”. This action is aligned with the #RuralWomen, Women with Rights campaign and it was intended to be launched during an event organized by FAO that marks the World Food Day.

The purpose of the contest is to highlight some solutions steered by women and give visibility to some of their current achievements and to the challenges they face to reduce rural poverty and ensure food security and nutrition.

This week, the team will give a presentation about the contest and finalize some details about it during a meeting of the #RuralWomen, Women with Rights Campaign’s working group.

Progress on Seed Projects

The team has also carried out a study to support the Seed Project Sustainable Coffee and the co-produced items that will be available for purchase on Moeda Marketplace. They have researched about e-commerce pricing for 83/84 special coffees sold in 250g coffee bags.

Other Moeda teams are currently assessing a workflow for Moeda Marketplace’s platform that will be shared as soon as it is ready.

Keep on top of everything that Moeda does to humanize finances and distribute impact. Follow our social networks.
