- MDA Ambassador Program on Fire We have started our MDA Ambassador Program for Chinese community beginning December 17th. Ambassadors help investors understand Moeda Project and its goals, gain popularity and influences in the cryptocurrency community, and maintain our chat communities. There was an addition of 800 people in community that covers a total of over 2,000 people.
Product
- TA & Onboarding The 17 selected pilot projects were formalized by the executive direction of Unicafes. These projects will be visited by our technical team as part of our Technical Assistance program, phase 1, to evolve their business plan and get ready to be funded. We got the V1 of a feasibility study tool, which will determine the level of assistance and provide initial data collection on the projects. The first test of using Whatsapp for TA onboarding support was deployed, and Brazilian team began analyzing the user behaviors.
- Loan Product Deployment The team met with Megan O’Donnell from the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCU) on Friday, who might be partner with Moeda on the design the customized loan products for the initial 17 pilot project loans.
- Risk Assessment and Reporting Brazilian team provided feedback on potential data collection methods that will enable us to get regular feedback from the women entrepreneurs on the use of the funds, progress of their projects, as well as other behavioral data . Website redesign team worked with Brazilian team to get more understanding of the sort of data we can/cannot collect from these 17 seed programs to inform user flows. New York team gathered the initial research that will inform the reporting metrics we use to measure progress towards the SDGs and potential impact metrics for triple bottom line investing.
- Mobile Application Technical MVP Development Sprint 3, consisting of Jira User Stories comprising data capture around KYC information for Moeda users, has been completed on schedule. The team demoed the mobile applications as of Sprint 3 end on December 21 to the product team (will have video uploaded to official Youtube channel). Website redesign team uploaded an improvement to our p2p wires that integrates the idea of a business (co-op) and how that would work within the native Moeda app.

Next week
- Holiday Seasons The team will be off most of the time for holiday seasons. But team will be ingesting all that has been learned this week to create an updated brief of the MVP, an updated learning roadmap to match the expected deployment date of the first loans, and key milestones we’d like the product to achieve this year based on our Essential Intent.

- Chief Ambassador on panel at Duke University’s SBSI Conference (7 February 2018) Chief Ambassador Ari Eisenstat will be on “Blockchain for Impact” panel at the Sustainable Business and Social Impact conference which will take place at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
