Good News
A recent market analysis carried out by the Brazilian Association of Fintechs (ABFINTECHS) has classified Moeda as one of the digital wallet companies that are able to offer Pix — an instant payments system brand. Officially launched on February 19 by the Central Bank of Brazil, the new system will enable immediate transactions, such as money transfers and payments — including bills — within up to ten seconds. PIX payments will be enabled through QR codes, address keys, filling in the information manually, and proximity payments. Such great news confirms that we are indeed getting things right since Moeda is one of the pioneering Brazilian fintech companies that offer QR code as a payment solution to its customers.

VVIDAA PROJECT

Moeda supports family farmers and together we have launched the VVIDAA Online Food Store. The VVIDDA project is a marketplace where people from Brasília, Brazil, can buy their products online in the comfort of their homes. What’s more, we take into account all the necessary sanitary and health precautions.
All the farmers involved in the project received hygiene kits containing gloves, overalls, masks, face shields, and sprayers. The products of the VVIDDA Project are sanitized before being delivered to our customers ensuring high safety levels.

- Prospecting and initial conversation with organic farmers and associations aiming at organizing a network of Moeda farmers in other regions of Brazil.

Progress
The team made some considerable progress on the operationalization of the partnership related to sales forecast, location for operation, among others.
We currently have 3 groups of organic food producers that will guarantee a good supply of many products and offer support to the inclusive processes of job creation and income generation. We will likely work with the Operations and Distribution Center in the city of Penha for the beginning of phase 1. The plan is to work with decentralized distribution hubs later on.
Next steps
To define the responsibility matrix, business model, and contractual participation and the services offered for the partnership (the latter will take place after an agreement is reached on the responsibility matrix).
2) Rural Women, Women with Rights
Organization of a meeting with the Brazilian National Indian Foundation (Funai) to discuss the action with MIMAS — Indigenous Movement of Women from Alto São Marcos, winner of the Rural Women, Women with Rights contest.
3) Artesaniaas Amazon
The team held some evaluation meetings of the partnerships to discuss the development of the project. The team identified the need for Funai to conclude some negotiations to then define the next steps.

Payment of several bank slips — we have adjusted the correct business hours and it’s now in production.
We have checked all errors produced by Acesso’s API and Moeda Wallet backend. A large number of tests and meetings were held with Acesso’s team.

The team worked created the VVIDAA Fanpage. We designed all publications or the month of May and we are now in the process of animating them. See below some of the work done so far.
