Technological Developments

This week marked the debut of the Seed Project Artesaniaas: Sustainable Fashion. The new Impact Investment was launched by the technology team on 9/21: investors are now able to support sustainable fashion and earn income.

In an effort to refine internal processes, the team capitalized on the launch in order to run some tests, iron out bugs and make some overall improvements to the platform.

The latest version of KYC for the Moeda Seeds App was completed and is now available at the Google Play Store. Some of the procedures involved included creating new screens, updating terms of use and privacy policies, developing new APIs for uploading documents, testing, integrations, and publishing to the app store.

Blockchain Progress

The team put the finishing touches on work to separate the Moeda Marketplace from Moeda Pay and concluded its update, which is now ready. More specifically, the team was able to successfully configure both Hyperledger and Stellar, effect an integration between Blockchain, Backend, Frontend, and Backoffice, and make the payment splits configurable for both Wallets and percentages. Additionally, the logistics API is now ready and improvements were made on the Backoffice for UX and customization.

The next step involves collecting and assessing feedback on the Moeda Marketplace and Moeda Pay. The team will also move forward with logistics APIs and improvements in the Moeda platforms.

Progress on Seed Projects

The Sustainable Business and Projects Board has just finished up a 2nd Version of the Financial Economic Feasibility Study. The document provides guidelines on financing, disbursements, and timelines in order to optimize the procedures for Seed Projects.

The team now plans to expand the studies and develop communication tools and information within the new system, facilitating procedures by including features such as a traceability process.

The team also made some progress on developing partnership projects with the State of Goiás. The focus is on credit to family farming operations in providing services and implementing the coordination of programs. There is also a study underway on raising funding internationally for investing in the environment as well as creating jobs and income.

Continuing talks on the Inovacerrado Network, the Project Management joined the Operational and Compliance Management team in a meeting with 9 organizations that will comprise the Innovation Ecosystem, which will work on innovation geared towards sustainable development. Some of the issues addressed involved network planning, management mechanisms, infrastructure and technical staff, methods and processes, and others. The next steps include defining internal participation in the Network and preparing a document with ideas on the process of innovation.

The team also made progress on studies and definitions pertaining to the sales of co-produced items in the Seed Projects. Assessments were made on new labels for the Roasted Coffees, feedback was collected on Cold Brew Tangerine and studies were conducted on final prices and packaging.

Moeda Progress

Last weekend, Moeda took part in the Winds For Future Summit in Ceará with a full and active schedule. Activities included a tasting and sales of Cold Brew 5 O’Coffee, in addition to a vast exchanges of ideas with the participants. Over the next few weeks, we will share some of the things that took place at the event, such as Taynaah Reis’ participation in the KiteParade that will be recognized by the Guinness Book of Records, some of the talks she gave, and a lot more.
