Projects and Sustainable Business
Updates on the progress made by our team over the last week are detailed below.
VIDAA Project
VVIDAA / DF
Progress
- Mapping of producers and their organizations for VVIDAA / Coompras operations,
- Prospecting and initial conversation with organic farmers and associations aiming at organizing a network of Moeda farmers in other regions of Brazil, and
- Defining the scope of work for other locations since we have good relationships with a large number of producer families who already operate in this market or have great potential to grow. We’ll likely include in this scope all the regions of the Federal District — and some surrounding cities as well.
VVIDAA/RJ
Progress
The team has:
- Approved the responsibility matrix,
- Defined the Business Model and contractual arrangements, and
- Defined in detail which services will be offered in the partnership. This will happen after the responsibility matrix is fully detailed.
Next steps
We have to define the details of the partnership, provide initial costs, and start an outline of a general cost structure based on the matrix of responsibilities. We still need to quantify and define the costs involved in VVIDAA DF project as well (labor costs; PPE, etc). We are currently drafting a cost structure only for the Moeda/Coompras venture.
Technology
Find below the technology tasks concluded last week.
1. Moeda Platform
1.1. Verification of user statements by the Backoffice operator
The team has made some adjustments in the statements API to issue statements per selected periods.

2. Moeda Wallet
We have made some adaptations to the Moeda Wallet to accept card recharging.
It now accepts not only wire transfers but also fiat deposits via credit card (using Cielo / MoedaPay APIs)
3. Moeda QR Code Payments
The team has concluded the QR Code payment feature.
In prod: payment using Acesso cards
In dev: payment using MDA and MDABRL balance
4. Moeda FIDC Fund
(status: dev)
We have received some APIs. Here are the remaining ones for full integration to happen:
- Approval
- Status search
- User search
- Signature search
- VM configuration and synchronization of stellar nodes (prod)
- Waiting for network synchronization
Communications
Moeda Market
The communications team is making an extensive revision of the website, suggesting some improvements that will happen in the coming weeks.
What’s more, we’ll send some vouchers to some Moeda Market customers this week.
Our team is also working on an institutional presentation about the Moedamarket.
We are also collecting some data related to changes in consumption. This study will be used to raise awareness about the need for entrepreneurs to focus more on Online Stores to be better positioned in the online market.
The team also produced several reports like the ADS Report (May 4th to 11th) and the General report (last 30 days), for example.
Rural Women
The team held a meeting with the Brazilian National Indian Foundation (FUNAI) to define the next steps of the award during the COVID19 crisis.
Moeda Seeds Website
Our team is currently creating a new image for the Moeda Seeds website and we are carrying out an analysis of the website. The team intends to publish it on a report and present some suggestions for improvements.

We’re creating some new video content together with the #Blockforce team.
