We are at a pivotal point in the journey of human civilization. From hunter-gatherers to agrarian settlements to the industrial revolution, most human advancement was functional. We primarily used our physical faculties and focused on developing coping and survival methods. But with the advent of the knowledge era, this is about to exponentially change.

The Need

We are embarking on the grandest of discoveries, using our mind to understand its own working, to discover the commonness in all of us and the world, and to create a co-operative equilibrium in all our societal interactions. A journey where we move from episodic functional growth to constantly evolving networked learning. A model that can maximize the “happiness quotient’ of society at large.

Most of our team members were kids or adolescents when first experiencing the internet. Sharing information from one computer to another was purely magical. Growing up, most of us were exposed to Social Media platforms like Orkut, and Facebook; as well as information platforms such as Wikipedia and Google. While we benefited from these platforms growing up, now as adults, we also see the dystopian side to these platforms. We simply could not let the internet drive in its current direction and we demanded a new direction for ourselves, and for our coming generations.

Building a new digital order where the digital consumer defines their experiences — that’s what matters to us.

As a group of passionate thinkers, designers, and engineers we believe that Internet can do much better and enable a truly happy digital society. We have come together to build a fundamentally new fabric for the internet that puts the user at the center of the design and enables new compassionate business models to be built for the future generations to come.

To manifest our vision, we work tirelessly to break ground on new ideas, architectures, design patterns and process paradigms to personalize the internet. Our first such effort is My Own Internet (MOI) — the world’s first context-aware peer-to-peer network protocol that humanizes digital interaction in a multi-dimensional value system.

The Approach

Today’s networks are system centric. A network supporting digital society need to be user centric because values are personal. MOI focuses on people, not just network performance.

Foundationally, the emerging digitally interacting world requires:

1 The ability to personalize values and facilitate all types of p2p asset transfers, just as in human interactions.

2 The ability to personalize the infrastructure based on individual needs and put users in control.

3 The ability to support billions of digital interactions across millions of decentralized nodes generated from heterogeneous value streams.

Personalization and Interaction centricity is the need for the growth of the internet. MOI provides the solution. MOI is the world’s first user-centric personalization protocol for the emerging digitally interacting world a.k.a. The Metaverse.

With MOI, transact sustainably across millions of decentralized nodes and billions of transactions in an interoperable context-aware network based on your own digital footprint. Powered by ZKP, personalize and secure your identity, storage and heterogeneous assets in your own chain.

The Solution

A value is valuable only if the value of the value is valuable to oneself - Swami Dayananda Saraswati

Inspired by this blessed guidance, we understand that a personalized internet can only built when keeping the user’s context at the heart of the entire network.

MOI is built to natively capture and evolve user’s context in every step of their digital interaction. Through the definition of context, we have foundationally introduced the participant as a new dimension for computation and as a unique resource for ordering and settlement in distributed networks.

We use this context of the participants in an interaction along with network entropy to compassionately compute and enable settlement of interactions and generate personalized value states with a high degree of security and scalability.

In MOI, the digital behavior and footprint of a participant becomes the primary network resource around which all capabilities of identity, storage, trust and value are managed. This participant centric digital behavior in a network is what we call ‘context’. To implement context, we have created:

Krama: A new class of ordering mechanism for distributed systems that implements a personalized network clock by leveraging the Context of a Participant.

PoXt: The first practical implementation of Krama, that equips Open Networks with virtualized Byzantine Fault Tolerance for hyper concurrent consensus.

Tesseract: A user-owned composite data structure that independently persists the trust, storage, compute and value of Interactions and dynamically coalesces to create intelligent and personal patterns

Using the above technology, MOI has integrated participants and context as a basic dimension in peer-to-peer networks to deliver true personalization.

Using MOI, we are enabling current web3 users who are facing fundamental limitations in the prevailing design of blockchains and web2 users who are trying to regain control over digital interactions and move to the new brave world in a sustainable fashion.

As makers ourselves, we have employed a use-case centric approach, as opposed to a purely technical approach in order to validate all the ideas put into the protocol design. We do this by releasing the protocol to developers in the community who are solving unique problems across multiple domains. We have validated the use for MOI by building several sustainable solution POCs and business models across several major industries such as Lending, Hedge Funds, NFT, Gaming, Real Estate, Professional Services as well as Identity and Storage Services.

The introduction of context into computation is a paradigm shift in the journey of digital and enables networks to deliver total personalization with complete user ownership and control, allowing for the emergence of a compassionate digital society where users are in charge.

With MOI, the user is always in control, and the network behaves the way they want, thereby making value transfers personal.

With MOI …..

“Let there be values instead of currencies
Let there be enablement instead of control
Let there be context instead of content
Let there be Individual instead of system”
