An Open Letter to MOI Community
Dear community members,
As we close out yet another year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all that we have achieved together and look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. This year has been nothing but amazing, and we have to thank each one of you for your contribution!
Over the past year, we all have made significant progress on our mission to revolutionize the way people interact on the internet. We tried to generate awareness about personalisation, test our gameplan in the real world, impress quite a few juries with our ideas, and also progress towards a more decentralized and humanized internet!
So much has happened that it is almost impossible to share everything here, but I will still try my best to let you in the bittersweet battles that led to the sweetest victories possible.
Online Community Engagement & Growth
We launched our telegram community in the month of March, and it has been growing stronger by the minute. We use this space to interact with our community members in a collated fashion via constant updates regarding the projects that we take up!
- The total number of community members across our social media channels (Twitter, Telegram & Discord) crossed a whopping number of 35,000! Trust us when we say, “we are just getting started!”
- Our work was recognized by some of the top publications this year including articles in the Financial express and Your Story alongside 12+ other esteemed media houses and online publications.
- Last but not the least, we ventured wholeheartedly in the turf of Twitter spaces to organize 15+ spaces that recorded a combined attendance of more than 5,000 !
Offline Events & Industrial Collaborations
Blockchain is a progressive technology that keeps collaboration at the heart of its functionality, and therefore we made it a point to collaborate with more value-rich technologies that are emerging in this excessively digital realm.
- We started off this year with an in-person meet-up of the MOI team alongside the blockchain community in Dubai during the month of March. We ended up meeting a lot of bright technical and business minds that were fired up to bring about a revolution!
- While Dubai was just the starting, we marched off to Bangalore in August to clinch the title at the Building Future Cities Hackathon organized by Coinswitch! Our team was awarded with a cash prize of INR 3,00,000 in this event which had esteemed partners like Sequoia Capital and Start-Up Karnataka!
- In later events, our team also marked its presence in the Bangalore Tech Summit and Metamorphosis, both of the events which unfolded in Bangalore. Our team got a chance to network with a wide variety of people that are empowered to put India on the global radar!
- During the month of November, we also participated in the grand Dubai Design Week where we launched Mint Valley (an e-commerce platform for Digital Assets) for the middle eastern audiences. Mr Anantha Krishnan ( Co-founder & CEO , MOI) also apprised the crowd with discussion revolving around the future of blockchains.
- Post our success in the Dubai Design Week, we were determined to energize the youth contributors via scheduled college visits and keynote speeches. As a pilot project, we visited the Saptagiri College of Engineering and the esteemed RNSIT to kindle the minds of more than 1500 students!
- Towards the end of the year, we indulged in joining hands with top contributors such as the OG Club DAO! We collaborated with OG Club DAO as their hiring partner and hi-tea sponsor in their Job fair, topped with being their post event party sponsor in the Blockchained x OG Club Dao Job fair!
Meet the Team
Great ideas turn greater when they are used for the common good, and we at MOI were determined to ensure that our idea of the internet reached massive groups of people to ignite a perspective shift! As a result, we welcomed the following people in our team to reach all of you!
- Mr Chandresh Aharwar (CEO — Unilend Finance & Ex- Polygon). Chandresh has a vivid experience in advising breakthrough blockchain firms owing to his journey as a marketer at Matic (Now, Polygon)!
- To spearhead the marketing and communications department, I (Geetika Gahlot) was onboarded! Being an ex-entrepreneur myself, I have been involved with the intricacies of the blockchain world since 2017 in the domain of building ICO communities & DAOs.
- To ensure that our community is always at the top of our developments, we onboarded Mr Vishal Kothari to take on the position of MOI’s community head. Vishal is a blockchain connoisseur and was associated with Matic in his last role.
- To further strengthen our arsenal, we also onboarded Mr Omkar Kushal (Ex-Byju’s) who is currently our Business Development Lead at Sarva Labs.

While this year definitely presented a lot of opportunities for us to move out of our comfort zone and conquer the global turf, we are set with only one thought in our head!
“We did not come this far to only come this far!”
Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for the coming year. After the success of the Indus Testnet we look forward to our second Testnet, Babylon! There are plenty of nouvelle features coming in, and we cannot be more excited to share them with you in the year to come!
As we step into 2023, we are more committed than ever to do our work in a way that supports a steep learning curve for students, developers , Blockchain builders, and Web 3 communities, all at once! We have a special onboarding process for our Enterprise Adopters making their journey of transition from Web2 to Web3 practical, simple and sustainable.
On this note, I extend our heartfelt gratitude (one last time!) on the behalf of the entire MOI family for your constant support and unwavering belief in the mission of creating a secure and sustainable network. MOI’s success is sucess of all community members and we look forward to continuing to build and grow together.
