Journey of INDUS Testnet
Announcing closure and the next steps to Babylon
INDUS was launched on May 21st of 2022. The inaugural event was telecasted on YouTube attracting almost 2,000 viewers across the world.
INDUS was our first Incentivized Testnet, and its primary goal was to make cutting-edge web3 technology available to the general public. The goal was to start engaging the general public in the revolution of ISM-based chains by hosting MOI Pods and encouraging them to come together and test our technology.
MOI Pod is an entry point to our validator ecosystem. The client saw 6 builds with version history growing from v0.2.0 to v0.5.1.
Over the course of 8 months and counting, we have observed record-breaking participation from more than 116 node operators, with profiles ranging from individuals and organisations from all walks of life. The individual node operators had been given the opportunity to host up to 21 validator nodes, and the institutional node operators were given the opportunity to host up to 108 validator nodes.
Collectively, we have seen more than 786 validator nodes being hosted with more with a Nakamoto Co-efficient of 60. In recognition of this effort by node operators, more than 1.5 Million MOI tokens have been assigned to the Validators.

A personalised eco-system for artists, content creators, technologies to create, list, sell and share Digital Assets.
Hacksuite
A privacy enabled suite that helps you share only relevant information to event(s) with complete control.
Asset Fractio
A democratised real asset investment platform facilitating user to do micro investment in Macro Assets.
TokenX
TokenX is a wealth management platform centered around income generated from equity in real estate, powered by MOI. It is currently being developed and is expected to launch soon.
To summarise, INDUS has seen a great deal of progress and welcomed many people to build on MOI technology.
