The recently concluded MOI Connect 2023, held at the Bengaluru International Center on 22nd June 2023, was an extraordinary event that aimed to humanize the Internet by seamlessly integrating peer-to-peer interactions from the physical world into the digital realm. With a focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation, this event brought together visionaries and experts to shape the future of Web3.
Kicking off the event, our esteemed founders took the stage, captivating the audience with the MOI story and delivering a powerful keynote address. Anantha Krishnan shared his visionary perspective, highlighting how MOI’s foundationally different technology embodies an innovative approach with transformative potential. He provided valuable insights into the concept of Interaction State Machines (ISM) and their role in empowering the evolution of human-like intelligence within digital interactions. Anantha’s insights into how MOI is humanizing the internet using Contextual Compute and Interaction State Machines, left the audience inspired and eager to embrace the possibilities.
One of the highly anticipated moments of the event was the official launch of MOI’s Babylon Testnet. This milestone marked a significant step towards driving interactions rather than systems, revolutionizing the way we perceive transactions. The participants had the opportunity to explore the distinct nature of interactions, which support dynamic personalization and enable human-like value transfers. Additionally, the developers introduced Cocolang, a context-oriented programming language designed to develop logics that align with MOI’s vision. The session garnered immense interest from both technical and non-technical attendees, who discovered how MOI is revolutionizing the internet through Contextual Compute. The introduction of Interaction State Machine (ISM) based chains showcased their potential to simplify, secure, and sustain the future of Web3.
The event featured an engaging guest talk by Mr. Pankaj Rai, Group Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Aditya Birla Management Corporation. He shed light on the significance of Web3 and its future in India. Rai emphasized the crucial role of innovation in driving India forward in the Web3 landscape.
The panel discussion, “How do we make Web3 more real?”, brought together a diverse group of professionals.The panel was moderated by Ms. Aditi Chopra, founder of SuperWomen DAO and included Ayush Ranjan, Founder of Huddle01, Deepanshu Tripathi, Founder of Asset Mantle, Rajat Gehlot, Co-founder of Quill Audits, Dhruv Garg from the All India Gaming Fedration, Bharadwaj, CBO at Sarva, and Dr. G.K. Patra, a scientist at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The panel engaged in an insightful conversation, addressing the challenges and opportunities in actualizing Web3’s potential.
Taking the role of the host, we were honoured to have Vinayak Joshi, a renowned TED speaker, popular Kannada actor, and host of a successful talk show.
The event also enjoyed esteemed support from academia, with notable personalities such as Dr. G.K. Patra from CSIR and Professor C. Pandurangan from IISC and faculty members from Presidency College gracing the occasion.
