Energizing Superfood Cacao Tonic:

Reminiscent of the flavor of fresh Cacao juice — Refreshing, sweet, zingy, and filled with antioxidants, and flavonols — this vitamin-packed elixir is the perfect end to your chocolate tasting. Explore the nuancd flavors of this superfood powerhouse with our Moka Origins Cacao nibs

Ingredients:

1. 6 ounces. roasted cacao nibs

2. 8 cups cold water

3. Sugar syrup

4. A squeeze of fresh lemon (optional)

Directions:

1. Grind the nibs with the spice grinder to a fine texture, but stop before it gets powdery.

2. Line your pitcher with the nut milk bag and pour the ground cacao nibs into the lined pitcher.

3. Fill the pitcher with water and stir, soaking all the grounds.

4. Tie the nut milk bag and cover the pitcher.

5. Leave the pitcher at room temperature for approximately 16 hours, or place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for a few extra hours.

6. Next day, lift up the nut milk bag and squeeze the liquid into the pitcher.

7. Prior to serving, give the cold-brewed cacao a good stir to displace any settled particles.

8. Mix with a sweetener of your choice, add a fresh squeeze of lime and top it off with some Indian Tonic or seltzer water.

Ingredients

1. A little less than 1 mug of water

2. Dark chocolate (70–100% cacao). For a strong dose, use 1 oz (28 g). For a moderate dose, use ½ oz (14 g).

3 . 1 heaping tablespoon of coconut oil

4. Cinnamon Bark (Add to taste)

5. Some kind of sweetener (honey, raw sugar, agave nectar, etc.)

Directions

  1. Pour water into a small saucepan, but don’t boil it yet.
  2. As it begins to heat up, add the coconut oil.
  3. Dice the chili pepper and add it to the saucepan.
  4. Add the chocolate.
  5. Add the cinnamon.
  6. Put the saucepan over a medium flame and bring to a boil, while stirring a bit. Watch out!
  7. Once everything is fully melted.
  8. Simmer and stir for a little while longer until everything is well-integrated. Then take it off the fire.

This rich, chocolatey combination of stimulants (theobromine and caffeine) with a good source of fat provides a well-integrated delivery system for a day of superhuman performance and heavy mental activity.
