The Molders are Coming!

Starting October 1st, the Genesis Era of mokens.io will come to a close and the Molder Era will begin!

The Genesis Era began on August 4th, 2018, when mokens.io launched to the Ethereum MainNet. Mokens.io was the first DApp with a working a implementation of ERC998, for Composable Non-Fungible Tokens.

Mokens.io is proud to make another NFT first by being the first DApp with an user interface for composing NFTs! Nick Mudge has made composing and minting NFTs on mokens.io a code free and simple process.

I am confident that anyone who can successfully fund their MetaMask wallet (come on y’all, don’t act like you don’t remember Googling MetaMask for the first time…) or can mint and compose a NFT of their own.

During the Molder Era, new users will be able to mint their first moken for free (only paying the gas price). After the first, each new moken is 0.02 ETH. Unlike the Genesis Era, the mint price does not increase during the Molder Era. The Mokens contract will enforce the mint price and rules of the Molder Era. Read more on composable NFTs here.

For further explanation on the rationale of this era, please read the “Molder Era” New Era Proposal. If you are already a Molders, there is still time to propose changes the Molder Era.

If you have an idea for the next Era, you can propose your own New Era Proposal. If you have ideas on how to improve the mokens platform, please create a Moken Improvement Proposal (MIP).
