Newly released today on MTonomy is Breaking Point: The War for Democracy in Ukraine, an intimate look at the war and revolution in Ukraine through the eyes of ordinary people.

These same people also led Ukraine to be one of the greatest adopters of cryptocurrency in the world. Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce that anyone with ether (a cryptocurrency) can now rent, purchase, and watch Breaking Point on MTonomy.com.

Breaking Point was directed by 3x Academy Award winner Mark Jonathan Harris and Distinguished Ukrainian Oles Sanin.

Just days after the 2014 Maidan Revolution in Ukraine that led to the toppling of the country’s president, the country was invaded by Russia. Breaking Point depicts these turbulent events through the eyes of people who lived them — a doctor, a soldier, a children’s theater director, a rabbi, and an investigative reporter. The film follows their struggle to survive and remake their own government. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anne Applebaum said, “Ukraine has become a piece of a bigger struggle about the future of democracy. Can democracy even survive into the 21st century?”

MTonomy does not endorse any political views.

P.S. Using cryptocurrency to buy and rent movies is easier than you might think — click here to see how, and stay tuned for the next release on MTonomy, coming in 24 hours!
