July 17 is World Day for International Justice. To that end, we’re highlighting “Shingal,” a powerful documentary about the persecution of the Yazidi minority in northern Iraq.
Driven from their ancestral lands by ISIS after a campaign of genocide, the Yezidis, a persecuted minority in Iraq, desperately attempt to ransom their kidnapped daughters from the terror group’s slave camps while dreaming one day of returning home. Directed by Angelos Rallis.
