Fact Check: ‘Trump Told Voters to Vote Twice’

Manuel Balce Ceneta/AP

Multiple news outlets like VOX, a hyper partisan, far left news outlet, have claimed that Trump is asking people to vote twice. This is false.

Donald Trump’s tweet outlined that once you have received, signed and sent your mail-in-ballot — you should go to the polling station (nov3) and verify that your vote has been checked by the polling staff. If not, vote in person.

This is 100% legal and is not against the law, many polling experts have also outlined that if you receive your mail-in-ballot and you can still make it the polling station, go vote in person to make sure your vote definitely counts.

Mail-in voting is nowhere near the rate to be a safe and reliable method due to error, losses and rare cases of fraud. Instead you should only mail-in vote if you are unable to get to a polling station before or on November 3rd.
