UK Electoral Commission Refuse to Allow Brexit Party Name Change
The Brexit Party are seeing issues whilst trying to re-name to ‘Reform UK’.
The United Kingdom Electoral Commission have started to play the dirty game, and expose the political corruption in every level of our government. The Brexit Party intended to change to ‘Reform UK’ and lay out new plans whilst also being a strong supporter of a ‘No-Deal-Brexit’, but have been hindered by the incompetence of the Commission.
As the Molyneux Post reported a couple of weeks ago, Nigel Farage and BP Chair — Richard Tice, announced they had sent a request to the Electoral Commission in the United Kingdom to change the name of the Brexit Party.
The report also detailed Farage’s plans for the party and what it will support. See the Molyneux Post report here. See Nigel’s original article here.
On the Brexit party’s official Instagram, a statement regarding the matter was released. The statement talks about how the Electoral Commission have had the Brexit Party’s “formal application” to “change the party name to Reform UK for 6 weeks”.
The statement goes on to mention that the Commission had cited that they have 6 weeks to come up with a verdict on whether they will press forward in the name change.
However, the deadline was over 5 days ago and yesterday the Brexit Party received an email stating that they have not yet reached a decision.
The commission also said, “it will take what time it tales” and that “there is nothing we can do about”.
The chances are, this is simple incompetence, laziness and fecklessness from the British government. In fact, this is a prime example of what the British public have to put up with on a daily basis.
However, it also could also be the establishment not wanting intruders into their ivory tower — Not wanting plebeian scum inside their pristine tower of lush marble and precious metals, filled to the brim with intelligence and wealth.
The Brexit Party have threatened to hold the Commission responsible if their requests are not met. This could possible mean a supreme court ruling which could also change the landscape of how party’s are formed.
Make sure to check out the Brexit Party’s Instagram to keep up to date with the news on the Electoral Commission fiasco and much more right wing, populistic, patriotic content.
Note: To remain transparent, I will like to note that I do fervently support the Brexit Party and will be a fervent supporter of the Reform UK party.
