Revolutions and NaNoWriMo 2016
And so it is written.
Or something like that.
It’s over! NaNoWriMo 2016 has officially come to an end for me. This morning, I was able to confirm my word totals (although the NaNo site was well under the counter on Scrivener, but I digress). I’ve gone over the 50K word goal and I’m on to the next phase of Revolutions — completing the 1st draft. I’m currently sitting in Chapter 16, with about 22 chapters mapped out. So, almost to the 2/3 mark, I suppose.
I can’t wait for all of you to read these next two novels. It’s so strange finally coming to the completion of this series. It’s even weirder yet, knowing they’ll be released back-to-back. Kinda exciting, too, though! I can finally move on to new stories — and let me tell you, there are THOUSANDS floating around in this goofy noggin of mine. Luckily, I have Evernote to keep my brain space organized and neat. LOL! I just need to decide which one I’m going to tackle next. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, right? ;)
Today, I’m simply happy I managed to keep to my writing goals and rituals. It’s no easy task when you work full time from home, have a toddler running around 24/7, not to mention his older siblings… But I did it. Whew.
