The information age is an unusual age, one in which it seems like everyone is living in their own little bubbles of truth, with very little in the way of a structured agreement upon what’s true and untrue, one we could quickly and easily reference to see if our statements are, in fact, correct. In other words, anyone can say anything and nobody knows who the hell to trust or believe. My suggestion is stick with the specialists in various subjects with actual cred and don't trust just any rando with a lotta fervor.

It’s almost as if we have to pick our information out carefully out of thousands of options and hope for the best, kind of like, uhh dating? Not really. The difference is, in dating, you don’t actually have thousands of options, you just think you do.

Okay, back to those pesky, crazed, conspiracy theorists…

This tumultuous time is one where people can make up their own untruths on a whim, and have those untruths disseminated and spread— around the globe — all within a matter of minutes. (See what I did there?)

“Fake news” is now the real news while real, honest journalists have to deal with the constant accusations of being the “fake news”…
